This experience report addressed the activity proposed for a 6th-grade class, the-med "Graphical Representations from Equations," and applied to second-year stu-dents of the Mathematics course at the State University of Paraná – Paranavaí Campus (UNESPAR), during the course “Teaching Numbers and Algebra.” The main objective of the activity was to promote a more dynamic teaching and learning pro-cess by utilizing manipulative materials and playful activities. To achieve this goal, the activity "Battleship" was proposed and developed, in which students had to sink their opponents’ ships, and upon sinking them, they would need to solve the equations written on each ship. Throughout the development of the activity, it was noted that it provided moments of interaction, relaxation, and contributed to the teaching and learning process of those involved, especially during the interactions facilitated by the activity.
