Abstract

This study examines the main concepts regarding internal marketing as an incentive tool for healthcare workers. This management strategy has been increasingly adopted by companies and public agencies with the aim of fostering a positive internal environment in which employees are aware of organizational goals and improve their communication. Internal marketing aims to integrate employees with company processes, as well as to improve interpersonal relationships. Internal marketing enables these employees to have a positive influence on productivity, provided that the healthcare organization in which they work fosters an environment conducive to this. This study sought to demonstrate how internal marketing can optimize the performance of healthcare teams by highlighting the tools employed to motivate these employees. This article highlights important aspects such as: Internal Marketing; Internal Marketing associated with internal communication; Communication Tools; Communication in Healthcare; Internal Marketing in the Hospital Setting; Internal Marketing and Internal Communication: Contribution to Hospital Organizations. Thus, it was possible to conclude the relevance of internal marketing in healthcare organizations among their teams of employees.
