This work addresses the theme: the importance of psychoanalytic supervision in psychoanalyst training. It questions the purpose and what conditions are necessary for the supervisee in the training process of aspiring psychoanalysts. What is the profile of the future clinical psychoanalyst and the importance of supervision for their training and how is it currently being developed? We know that supervision is of great importance in the training of a future analyst. The practice of supervision is seen in most institutions as the main foundation, aiming at improving the qualification process. It is an essential practical tool that has been developed and revised over the years by psychoanalytic institutions. The condition is more than a collection of knowledge acquired through theoretical studies, as well as personal analysis, thus forming the analytical tripod, an essential triad for the transmission of psychoanalysis. In the learning process, we can face problems in supervision when the supervisor or even the educational institution imposes evaluation methods and rules from a unilateral point of view, among other conditions that may become an impasse for practice.
