This work aims to present a literature review on the place of people with disabilities in social movements. When considering the struggle of segregated groups throughout history, people with disabilities can be highlighted, due to a path of suffering, rebellion and, in turn, social, legal and cultural achievements. Therefore, they can be considered subjects that deserve to be highlighted, as well as other subaltern peoples, such as blacks, browns, Indians, the LGBTQIA+ community, who are characters in history that until today are part of social movements in order to achieve new achievements and a better experience. full in society. Therefore, the methodology used concerns a literature review, considering a qualitative character. One of the conclusions is that there are places within the social movements destined for this group (people with disabilities), however, the literature still presents very vague ideas regarding this object of study.
